Asbestos & Lead Abatement
Toledo Engineering LLC is a certified contractor to perform abatement services in Puerto Rico. All our workforce is certified by the EQB and EPA. The abatement services include filing of all required permits to Local and Federal Government Agencies, supervision of the work, and waste disposal to certified landfills.
Industrial & Pharmaceutical Dismantling
Toledo Engineering LLC performs industrial demolition or pharmaceutical dismantling. Services include asbestos and lead abatement prior to demolition and pipe draining and cleaning. For major dismantling projects, a credit can be negotiated with the owner based on ferrous and recyclable materials obtained from the demolition activities.
Toledo Engineering LLC recycles up to 97% of concrete debris obtained from the demolition activities. Debris is recycled using a portable concrete crusher machine. Once the concrete is crushed it is used as aggregate A-1-a. The recycled material can be used by the owner of the project for future construction and foundation work. The recycling service can be done at the project site or at our recycling premises.
Wood and Vegetation Recycling
Toledo Engineering LLC recycles up to 85% of wood debris obtained from the demolition projects. Debris is recycled using a portable chipper machine. Once the wood and trees are crushed it is used as mulch. The recycling service can be done at the project site or at our recycling premises.
Our company will take care of all the debris hauling activities related to its projects. All our dump trucks have the required permits by the Public Commission and the EQB (Environmental Quality Board) to transport non-toxic waste.
Ferrous Materials Recycling
Toledo Engineering LLC recycles up to 95% of ferrous materials. Steel, aluminium and cooper are hauled outside the project site and delivered to authorized recycling centers.
